Set 900 meters above sea level amidst a dramatic mountain landscape, Jatinangor Golf & Resort (formerly known as Bandung Giri Gahana) opened in 1989 and was designed by Michael Coates & Associates. Capitalizing on its high-altitude setting, the course enjoys a crisp, cool climate—particularly in the mornings and late afternoons—making it one of the few regional properties ideally suited for premium Bentgrass fairways and greens.

Two Contrasting 9-Hole Loops

Stretching 7,176 yards from the championship tees, the layout is divided into two highly distinct nine-hole loops that offer excellent variety.

• The Giri Course (Front Nine): Winds through mature, native trees along a rolling landscape. The fairways are generous and flanked by strategic bunkers, encouraging aggressive driving. During dry conditions, the firm, flat fairways offer exceptional roll, putting both par-5s within reach in two shots.

• The Gahana Course (Back Nine): Characterized by severe elevation changes and heavy undulations. This side demands precise distance control and exact club selection, rather than raw power.

Clubhouse & Resort Facilities

Putting Tip: The greens on the Gahana loop feature highly deceptive breaks. Golfers are strongly advised to rely on the well-trained local caddies, who excel at reading putting lines and assisting with club selection.

• Amenities: The property features clean, spacious locker rooms and an on-site clubhouse restaurant serving authentic, reasonably priced Indonesian cuisine.

• Accommodations & Upkeep: While the hillside resort hotel remains an impressive landmark from a distance, the 30-year-old facilities are showing their age and could benefit from better maintenance. Today, the resort primarily serves as a peaceful weekend getaway for local golfers looking to escape the hustle of Bandung rather than an international tourist hub.
