54 holes par 72 (6576 yards)
Located on the Mornington Peninsula 80 minutes from Melbourne, The National Golf Club is a 54-hole private club featuring three top-40 Australian courses designed by legends Robert Trent Jones Jr. (Old Course), Peter Thomson (Ocean Course), and Greg Norman (Moonah Course).
The Moonah Course Highlights
Design & Terrain: Ranked #8 in Australia, this Greg Norman layout weaves through the rolling "Cups" country on former pastoral paddocks. While lacking ocean views, it features immaculately manicured fairways and fast greens.
Distinct Bunkering: Defined by rugged, unkempt bunkers framed with long, wispy grass that naturally fit the surrounding landscape.
Playability: Features 14 par 4s (280–420m+), 4 par 5s, and 4 tough par 3s. Good scoring opportunities exist through the first 13 holes before facing a grueling final stretch.
Brutal Finish (Holes 14–18): A score-wrecking sequence of long par 4s (including two over 420m), a tricky par 5, and a demanding 190m par 3 where par is a solid result.
