18 holes par 72 (6056 yards)
Built in 1907 by Irish expatriates working on the Panay Railways, the Iloilo Golf and Country Club—originally known as the Santa Barbara Golf Course—holds a storied place in Philippine sports history. Recognized as the first Philippine club affiliated with Scotland’s prestigious Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, this heritage site is officially recognized by the National Historical Institute. What began as an exclusive 9-hole course for British migrants was expanded to 18 holes and opened to Filipino golfers in the 1920s, officially adopting its current name in 1947.
Measuring 6,056 yards, the course preserves its natural, historical terrain, ensuring no two holes play alike. Towering mahogany trees, rolling hills, and strategic water hazards create a scene that is as challenging to low handicappers as it is visually stunning. Players can take advantage of practice areas, tee houses, and a modern clubhouse, along with an on-site museum showcasing over a century of fascinating golf memorabilia.
